Cross Balance

bullet1 Seven Virtues

The church teaches that there are seven virtues,
though I am not certain how these were arrived at (can someone help?).
However it was done,
it is reasonable to suppose
that there would be personality types predisposed to them.
Four seem to fit nicely -
temperance would be a typical characteristic strength
of the phlegmatic or aesthetic person;
prudence a strength of the melancholic or thinker;
 fortitude of the choleric, sense-based doer;
and justice of the sanguine talker
- look back at the personality traits to see how these fit.

The cardinal virtues, faith, hope and charity,
seem to me to be characteristics of the well balanced personality
and therefore somewhere towards the middle.
