bullet1 The thirteen characteristics of Charity Love

(I Corinthians 13)

The famous passage in Corinthians describes
what true unconditional charity love is like.
There are, corresponding to the chapter,
thirteen characteristics that are noted.
Six are negative, and seven are positive.
One can imagine God giving all our personalities
a fair share of these characteristics,
where agape love is expressed naturally.

I think they correspond as noted above,
but I may be wrong in where to place the negative characteristics.
It seems that charity is important
in counteracting weaknesses in some personalities (ie the intellectual),
whereas it brings out the natural strengths in others.
Note that I have put the hopeful characteristic in the middle,
being best brought out in a very balanced personality.
Hope will feature again, as with some of the other traits.
