Four Channels of Charity Love

(Mark 12:30)

If we look at charity or agape love further,
we find that Jesus exhorts us to love in a fourfold way,
with all our mind, soul, body and heart.
In other passages it is only three,
but perhaps the fourth is represented by the command
to love one's neighbour as oneself.
One would imagine Jesus covering all personality types
and that although each might be predisposed to love God
in the way that is most natural to him or her,
it is important for each person to practice all means of expression
(like the pieties).
