Some Definitions
Before continuing,
I would like to use some definitions
taken from Tim LaHayes book “Spirit Controlled Temperament”:
Our TEMPERAMENT is the combination of the inborn TRAITS
that subconsciously affect our behaviour.
These traits tend to be genetically determined.
CHARACTER is the real you – your temperament modified by the “environment”
(upbringing, education, culture, status, beliefs, principles, motivation).
Our PERSONALITY is how we express ourselves to others
– and may or may not be the same as our character,
depending on how genuine we want to be.
TEMPERAMENT X ENVIRONMENT = CHARACTER
(What we really are)
CHARACTER X “GENUINENESS” = PERSONALITY
(What other people see)
