bullet1 Eight team roles

Based on Myers-Briggs’ studies,
researchers Margerison and McCann propose eight team roles
played by people in a management situation.
These are based on a structure put forward by Carl Jung,
a Swiss philosopher and psychologist.
There appear to be two spectra from which the eight roles are developed.

One covers behaviours:

Exploring – Controlling

The other covers role preferences:

Advising - Organising.

These form the basis for eight team roles
which fit around the octogon diagram as shown.

The table on the next branch gives detailed  characteristics of each role.
They seem to fit the temperament types quite well.
