This appears to be a good reference text.

The TREECD Abstract states: "This book provides a general introduction to the topic of sustainable agriculture, written primarily for students, farmers and conservationists rather than as an academic text. The introductory two chapters provide an overview of the concept of sustainability in agriculture and what is meant by it. Other chapters include topics such as soil and water management, control of pests, diseases and weeds, and management of crops, pastures, trees and animals. Concepts discussed include permaculture, biodynamics, organic farming, agroforestry, conservation tillage and integrated hydroponics."
