bullet2 A011 Using Fodder from Trees and Shrubs to feed Livestock in the Tropics

FAO Better Farming Series.

Dr O.B.Smith, 1994   Vol No 42.  Published by arrangement with the Institut africain pour le développement économique et social. B.P. 8008, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. English, French, Spanish.

An excellent example of a clear and concise booklet for the farmer. Illustrated with abundant, simple black and white line drawings (but which are rather stylised and might not be readily understandable to some people). Numbered paragraphs. Booklets are designed for training courses, and have been adapted and published in Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Creole, Hindi, Igala, Indonesian, Kiswahili, Malagasy, SiSwati, Thai, and Turkish. Some of the earlier introductory texts on biology etc. would be very useful for background to agroforestry extension material.
